Synopsis:

Based on a true story, Pennies for Elephants is about a little girl named Dorothy and her brother Henry who find out that the local circus is retiring three local elephants and selling them to someone else. The owner tells the children he will sell them to the city of Boston for 6,000. The children all over Boston donate every cent they can earn to the buy the elephants. This is a story of love, friendship, and compassion.
