Activities:
My students love this book as it is repetitive and easy to catch on. It is a great book to teach sequencing with.
1. Her is Laura Numeroff website where she gives a lot classroom ideas from story starters to writing a story. She also has a kids sight where they can see story starts or play a game with Pig. -- http://lauranumeroff.com/kids_fun/index.htm
2. Here is a video from you tube of two mom's partner reading If You Give a Pig a Party and they have one part that is interactive if using a large viewing screen. -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9hFkFudsNc
3. Here is a Party Guide to the story. I use a lot of these activities in my classroom when reading the story and decorate my room to draw the students in. -- http://files.harpercollins.com/PDF/ActivitiesGuides/0060283262.pdf
